Hello! To take a rickshaw in Kyoto Higashiyama, you can just come to our main rickshaw stand located on the cobble stone street (Nene Street) by the Kodaiji Temple and Ichinenzaka. You can also find us by searching for 'Ebisuya Higashiyama' on google maps. We constantly have staff located here during our hours of operation, so even if you don't have a reservation you can just come and we will assign a guide to your tour. It is possible to book a rickshaw tour with us in advance, the day before or to simply show up at our rickshaw stand without any reservation. Bookings in advance can be paid online via credit card, while bookings made within two days of the tour or on the day itself can only be paid in cash directly to your guide. We have two main meeting places in Kyoto Arashiyama (Togetsukyo Bridge and South exit of JR Saga-Arashiyama Station) and from there you can start the tour to go through the bamboo forest and visit other locations as well. While the 60min (1 hour tour) is by far the most popular option, we do offer shorter or longer tours to better suit your schedule, budget and interest.
