It was such an amazing experience to explore Gion area and meet a real Maiko. Our guide, Kaori-san was knowledgeable, thoughtful, and professional. She explained unique customs and culture of Kyoto, and I enjoyed listening very much. Maiko was so adorable that I got excited to take her pictures. She wore a beautiful kimono and searved us Matcha green tea. The lady who made tea was a very friendly and nice person. She said she used to be a Geiko, and of course a Maiko. Her song and performance was wonderful. I want to join the tour again.

It was a fantastic tour in Gion. I enjoy strolling in the area and traditional dance of Maiko( Geisya) was beyond words! Our guide, Tomoko has wide and deep knowledge not only the area but all over Japan. I definitely recommend this tour when you are in Kyoto.

Tomoko has great knowledge. I could learn a lot of Geisha’s traditional culture and heard many interesting topics from her.
Maiko’s stage is amazing that I have never experienced. Taking photo with her is so nice memory.
Shop master’s hospitality is also nice.
We could enjoy tea ceremony before Maiko’s. dance. She played musical instrument and sang a song during Maiko’s dance.
How special day it was!
I greatly recommend to join this tour.

I had soooo much fun with Nao! Not only since it turned out to be a private tour - that was a contributing factor. But we got along so well, it felt like we were good ol' friends taking a stroll around the market. Nao guided me very well and kind and answered all my questions.

Perfect way to experience Kyoto for the first time! Our guide Kenji met us at our hotel and took us to Fushimi Inari Shrine, Kiyomizu-dera Temple and finished with some strolling and shared insights around Gion District. Kenji very knowledgeable, friendly and good English. Shared simple and meaningful insights into history and traditions.

Our guide Naomi was knowledgeable and made the tour really enjoyable! We learnt a lot and it made our time in kyoto well spent :)

We were lucky enough to have Fuji as our guide for a half day tour and she was amazing! We were a group of 7 (4 adults and 3 kids) and she did an excellent job accommodating all of our needs. We were able to do a tour of Nishiki Market where she provided wonderful recommendations she also noticed that our kids were fans of Pokémon and made a special stop at the Pokemon Center. At the end of our tour she spent extra time talking with us sharing her cultural knowledge of Kyoto which made the tour extra special. The tour was the highlight of our trip to Kyoto, we highly recommend this tour company (and Fuji!)!

Our guide Nao led us on an amazing food adventure. She was super knowledgeable, always made great conversation, and had us try so many new and delicious things. I’ll forever crave soy donuts. DO THIS TOUR!!!!

Just the right amount of walking, food, information, and shopping with our small group. Our tour guide, Nao, was friendly and knowledgeable with perfect English. She knew where to stop and patiently waited while we decided what to eat or buy. Great variety of food for everyone with options to choose what to eat. Nao was kind enough to allow me to substitute a food since I didn't eat one dish due to personal preference.

We are 2 Chinese tourists and we are planning to have a culture tour to Kyoto.According to the travel plan, we will arrive in Kyoto on July 14. So we will stay in Kyoto begin on July 14 and end on July 16. But we still need to decide according to the epidemic situation in China.Here attached is my itinerary and needs. While fish is a focus, you are offered a good amount of non-meat items on this tour. Nishiki market is loaded with all types of foods, and the tour group is small, so I would guess it could be tailored to your tastes. Food was just one reason why this tour was amazing. The guides are top notch.
