The staff at this kimono shop were really wonderful and helpful. I was able to easily reserve and email for our family group of three adults a teenager and a 6-year-old. They were very accommodating with beautiful choices easily and clearly labeled. They're so helpful English will really not be necessary but it was helpful that I was able to speak with them in a little bit of Japanese. The materials were high quality and they dress you like a doll. We opted for the hair styling and it was lovely and fast. I will say the entrance was a little difficult to find the first time. It looks like you're going into a restaurant but instead of going into the restaurant entrance, head to the left and the entrance to the kimono shop is there and down some stairs. They do have an elevator but it goes through the restaurant and we felt a little awkward about doing that. But it's nice that they have the option if necessary. We had a lovely time and would definitely book with them again in the future next time we're in kyoto! Bonus it's only a few minutes walk from a giant torii gate and a beautiful bridge, and about a 15-minute walk to the okazaki bunny shrine. We also passed a takoyaki stand on our way back and a lovely little window stand selling onigiri and coffee and tea. It seems well located and we got a lot accomplished even in a short distance around the shop. Recommend!!
