I do not think there is any port between two hours drive and the Starbucks coffee farm. The farm is about 1 hour drive from the capital San Jose, and San Jose is not a port city.

Hello !! evening ! I know there is a bus not quite sure if you can take the bus straight from San Jose or if you do need to take one from San Jose Alajuela and then one from Alajuela to the Starbucks place. You are gonna need a car to do volcano and Starbucks at the same time to enjoy both places at its best. This is because either place you visit first you won’t leave soon, you are going to spend some time really good time in both places and to fully enjoy them a bus is not a very good idea. Personal opinion of course ! Bless

Hi Leah, From Alajuela, you can go to Alajuela's Bus Station and take Jaulares bus. In this bus, you need to come down in Hacienda Alsacia. Also, you can come by Uber and from Alajuela is ¢13.000 aprox ($21). Hope to see you soon in Hacienda Alsacia.

Yes, go grab a cup of (very good) coffee and maybe a piece of cake or a sandwich and enjoy the view over the coffee fields. The French press coffee is excellent!
