This was my third (!!) time shopping in Buenos Aires with Shop Hop and I honestly can't say enough good things about the experience. I gave Mani some thoughts about what I was looking for (clothing, bags, shoes, jewelry!) and she created an lovely itinerary for us to follow. We visited new designers as well as some designers that we saw on earlier trips. I was able to get quite a few things and met a lot of new artisans that I will visit again in the future. I am already putting together a list of things I want Mani to send me from BA! (Another wonderful service that Shop Hop provides!!!)
I highly recommend reaching out to Mani while planning your trip to Buenos Aires. She is a total gem and so knowledgeable about all things retail and art in Buenos Aires.

Mani is a superb shopping guide. We were very nervous since we don’t speak Spanish and BA is full of hidden gems and known for great hand crafted products. My wife and I had two half-day trips with Mani and we were overwhelmed with satisfaction. Mani genuinely cares and makes it all come alive. We look forward to returning to BA soon and enjoying all the great shopping with Mani as a guide.

A great experience with Mani! First off--I hate shopping, but three in our group love to shop and I tagged along. Mani researched the items we wanted to see: Women's fashion to gaucho knives. Her curated list of shop owners were expecting us when we arrived. As Mani learned our sense of style she adapted quickly. We found unique "slow craft" items along the way and had a productive (and fun) day. Mani is very personable and fun to be with. She has the perfect balance of knowing when to step back and knowing when to offer advice. We enjoyed a bottle of wine with her over a late light lunch. At the end of our time we all felt like we'd made a new friend. Buenos Aires is vast and it would be impossible to find the artisans and small shops without the help from a local. HIGHLY recommend.

We spent a full day with Mani and it was fabulous. She took us to shops we NEVER would have found on our own and both my husband and I found some great new clothes. Mani is a delight, with perfect English and a great ability to discern her clients' interests.

Now that Shop Hop BA are open to tours for locals, it's a great opportunity to get that behind-the-scenes insight of what is going on in the fashion and art world here in Buenos Aires. We loved this personalized tour in a covid-secure environment. It was a wonderful experience and one that I highly recommend!

My husband and I had a great day with Mani and her driver Cesar. She is very sweet with great style and figured out our “type” pretty quickly so no time was wasted seeing things we did not like. She sent us a questionnaire in advance to learn about our style and what we were interested in. The day was well-organized and while we covered a lot of ground we never felt pressured. She took us to see artisans who really represented authentic Buenos Aires and it was enjoyable meeting them and admiring their work. It was a great way to see some neighborhoods and meet the people of this beautiful city. Thanks Mani!

We had a wonderful day with our personal shopper Mani. She took us to the following places: a leather jacket shop, a boutique handmade handbag place, a unique jeweler, a natural clothing store, and an Argentinian gift shop. Her selections of these places were based on our email exchanges before our trip, so she knew what we were interested in.
The places she took us to were hidden unique designer shops that carry beautiful and elegant items. We would never be able to find these places if we did not go with Mani.
In summary, we really had a great experience with Mani. She was friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable. Highly Recommended!!!

Was für ein toller Tag! Mani hat mich im Hotel abgeholt und wieder zurückgebracht. Natürlich habe ich mir zu diesem besonderen Erlebnis einen Privatfahrer geleistet.. Unsere Shopping-Tour war auf mich massgeschneidert. Wir machten Halt in den Stadtteilen Recoleta und Palermo Soho.. Die 4h waren knapp, werde nächstes Mal eine Ganztagestour buchen. Ich ging nach Hause mit einem Hochzeits-Outfit 👗, recycleten Ohhringe, zwei Paar Tangoschuhen sowie neuen, trendigen Stiefeletten. Zwischendurch stärkten wir uns mit einem obligaten Cappuccino ☕️.
Mani war die perfekte und angenehmste Shoppingbegleiterin, die ich je hatte. Wir unterhielten uns wunderbar auf englisch.
Bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Buenos Aires werde ich dir Tour ganz am Anfang buchen, damit ich danach noch Zeit habe, die Läden nochmals zu besuchen.

Shop Hop BA is a fantastic way to find unique, high quality jewellery and clothing whilst enjoying the company and knowledge of a local. Mani has an engaging personality and provides a highly professional service. She responded to all of my emails promptly and the questionnaire enabled her to produce a tailor made tour based on my interests. I am fussy about what I buy as I prefer versatile, investment clothing as opposed to fast fashion. Every shop I visited was relevant to my taste and I would not have been able to find them on my own. A pair of earrings, two beautifully sculptured tops, a leather bag and alpaca jumper will follow me home and I have original, wearable Argentinian mementos to remind me of my travels. I would strongly recommend using the private driver option as this maximises your shopping time. This was a highlight of my stay in Buenos Aires. It was highly enjoyable spending time with Marni and I would definitely recommend Shop Hop BA Tours.

I have never used a personal shopper before as I really know what I like & am not actually a "shopper" for the sake of it. However, I cannot recommend Mani & her team high enough. We dragged my 14yo son along and even he had a blast. We could never have managed to access by ourselves to the shops we visited. With some private appointments in salon style vendors the experience itself was unique & fun.
It was so easy. I filled out a quick questionnaire the night before, we exchanged an email or two.
I loved how she really took into consideration exactly what we were looking for & then took us to exactly what we wanted/liked/needed. Was it kismet or luck? I don't think so, she got it so right. In fact, I have to go back to one of those stores again today to get more.... Thank goodness I still have a few days left in this fabulous town.

We will be on a cruise and have limited time. May want to do a little leather shopping and eating good food. What are the charges and schedules?

I had a leather skirt made for me, had my measurements taken on a Monday and the skirt was ready by Wednesday, not too sure how long a jacket would take though. The prices were really affordable ($160US) but this also depends on what you are after. Hope this helps!!
