Just came back from an amazing trip to Grand Canyon National Park with Discovery Treks. My wife, 13 year old son and I hiked Rim to Rim with Keenan from Discovery Treks. The team was very professional, making sure we had the appropriate gear and training before making the trip out west. Keenan's knowledge of the Canyon and patience with us was a real plus. Our family learned so much and made friends with another couple along the way. The Canyon Curry Chicken on our last night was well worth the wait. We will have memories for a lifetime with our son as he enters into his teenage years. We would definitely book another trip with Discovery Treks at another park.

This is a trip of a lifetime!
The views and hiking are simply unparalleled. The Canyon never ceases to amaze. The Rim-to-Rim experience allows unique perspectives of the canyon from different viewpoints and lighting.
We camped at Cottonwood, Clear Creek, and Indian Garden. The night sky at Clear Creek showcased the Milky Way. Make sure you see Ribbon Falls too!
Everyone knows the Canyon of s spectacular, but so is Discovery Treks and the guides Uphill Phil and . These guys are experts and are constantly giving first class service. The meals they cooked, especially dinners, were fantastic and appreciated after a hard hike.
As Jason advised us, stick to your training. This is not for the faint of heart!! Thank you Discovery Treks!

Katie was our trail leader and she took such good care of us - we all loved her. It was all girls on this once in a lifetime hike for me. I pulled a muscle on my left calf the first day of hike and Katie was so supportive. I was determined to continue and she was caring & supportive, working with me to determine next steps. We all meshed as a team and became very close. Katie set the tone then gently, with alot of humor, got us all to the top of South rim. We all love her and l am so grateful she was our guide, leader, and soul sista 💜🙏✌🏽🙏🥰

What a magical experience! The Grand Canyon in November was beautiful. Discovery Treks with our amazing guide Katie did it all. They provided us with excellent equipment to make the trip comfortable and safe. Anything I was missing Katie either gave me her own personal item to share or had extra equipment.
Katie took care of every detail and was attuned to all of the hikers needs. She knows and loves sharing the Canyon with her clients. She created an opportunity for everyone in our group to complete the hike and enjoy it at our own pace.
When I go back to the Grand Crayon, I will be going with Discoveru Treks and Katie.

Truly enjoyed my backpacking rim to rim hike with Discovery Treks. Katie is a wonderful guide - very positive and motivating while ensuring the group kept on schedule. Discovery Treks was great to work with - booking was straightforward, they answered any questions I had, and checked in periodically pre-trip. The sleeping bags and tents they provided were good quality and clean. I enthusiastically endorse Discovery Treks and would definitely book another trip with them.

We just returned from a 3-Day Grand Canyon Classic Hike to the Colorado River. It was an absolutely amazing experience, and I would highly recommend Discovery Treks if you’d like to hike the Grand Canyon. Our guide, Brittney, was excellent, fun, knowledgeable, and she made some great meals! She seemed to appreciate and be grateful that we were in constant awe of the beauty around us. She cheered us on when we needed it and was always encouraging our little group.
This trip was exactly what we wanted, and we would certainly do it again. The communication with Discovery Treks leading up to the trip was excellent, and their recommendations regarding our training were spot on.
5/5 stars!

Absolutely Amazing Trip – We went on the 4 Day Grand Canyon Rim to Rim adventure with Discovery Treks and had an amazing trip. Our guides Katie and Keenan were GREAT! Katie was constantly brimming with positive energy and making us all feel good and laugh, and Keenan gets a 5 Star rating for outdoor camp cooking!!! (I want some royalties if you start that YouTube channel!)
Bringing together 9 people most of whom don’t know each other or have much backpacking / tenting experience can be a challenge. Both Katie and Keenan were organized, thoughtful, supportive, and compassionately caring. The meal planning and cooking was all taken care of and we were well fed! Keenan’s Curry was my personal favorite! followed by Katie’s amazing avocado bagel deluxe after Ribbon Falls. The Discover Treks logistics and gear was also great, making the trip super easy and non-stressful.
Adam and the DT team did a great job and were SUPER responsive to phone calls and emails. Every last detail was thought through with nothing left to chance.
If you are thinking about a guided trip, Discovery Treks is the place!! Great people, great guides, and all the logistics thought through and taken care of – DONE!

There is no better way to experience the Grand Canyon’s splendor than with Discovery Treks. My son and I had the privilege of spending our 4 days in the canyon with Katie and Keenon. Both of the guides were very informative and very encouraging. Keenon, “ Grand Ramsey”, was our chef. We enjoyed warm and perfectly seasoned meals-loved his curry. Katie made sure I met my goal of completing a R2R by providing customized support.

The trip was EXCELLENT! The way our guides broke the trip into sections was perfect, allowing time for side hikes, viewing the spectacular vistas, and ' recovery'. Phil and Britney, our guides, were THE BEST. Great food, nice transportation, etc. Kudos!
