Disappointing. Tasting was like a route, mechanised machine. Mountain Zin was only wine worth mentioning. Margarite pizza was the highlight.

Veuillez faire très attention il débute le compte client sans avertir .après le payement du billets bloqué Opodo si non les surprises ne finissent pas .....nul a gerber pas service client .....la me.....de

A MUST visit!

This was our fourth time visiting this winery and it just keeps getting better! The friendly and knowledgeable staff sets this winery apart. Our wine tasting was with Ryan and he made it extremely enjoyable. He also suggested a vegan cheese store in the area that I would have never found otherwise! The food is amazing so plan on having a delicious meal in gorgeous surroundings. We also did a tasting at the distillery room and came home with several bottles from there as well. If you only have time for one winery, make this it!

Great place for a drive through the country to taste wine with a pizza and salad

On the way to Paso Robles from Cambria we took a drive through beautiful country vineyards on a small road to Opolo on a recommendation that it was a great place to try Zinfandel wines. As it was early afternoon we were delighted that we could also order a pizza and salad with our wine tasting with table service. We even were serve a delicious port after lunch. The facility also has a distillery if one’s tastes run in that direction, which we try next time we go.

Superb wine tasting in a luxury environment

This is a great find .. a wonderful terrace to sit in the sun .. and because we bought three bottles , we only paid for one tasting !
It was a great experience , Doug , our sommelier , was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful .
We tasted about 8 different wines !
We brought home the Viognier and Mountain Zinfandel , both of which are superb examples of the companies output .
We were walk in visitors and were treated very well .. highly recommended

Outstanding and Very Knowledgeable staff. Great food/Wine/Bourbon. Highly recommend! AND didn’t have a reservation unlike all the other wineries!

Opolo has one of my favorite zinfandels I have ever tasted. I ordered 2 bottles of their Mountain Zinfandel due to the black Friday sale they had going on. I knew I would be back again visiting in Paso Robles soon and had to snag a couple of bottles because they can no longer ship to my state.

Great prompt service again. When I have more time, I will definitely check out their distillery and do a tasting. Last time I was at Opolo the distillery tasting room did not exist.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience here as a part of a group tasting. Right off the bat, the server forgot my table with the first pour. We waited patiently and it wasn’t until the other tables began to get their second pour did we mention it. She poured me the bottoms of not one but TWO bottles, a pour that didn’t even equate 2oz. Because of this delay, the server continually forgot/overlooked us as she assumed we were caught up with the group. When we mentioned we never received our 4th tasting (as part of the menu) she actually accused us of lying! She stated firmly “she gave it to us” when she hadn’t, she was pouring seconds for the other tables! I attached a photo of the minuscule pours - when I asked why they were so small, she said “well this is JUST a tasting.” I’ve been to wineries in Spain, Chile, France, Niagara and NEVER have been poured so little or treated so poorly!

Great place for wine tasting and lunch

Opolo is one of our favorites. We always have a wonderful tasting experience there. This was our first time having lunch with the tasting and it was delicious. Lisa took excellent care of us. She was so much fun and very helpful. We sat outside on the covered patio and did our tasting, then ordered lunch which included a glass of wine. We had the pizza and a salad. Both were amazing. We love the wine and ended up buying 4 bottles! We can’t wait return.

Setting Beautiful and Exceptional Staff

Visited with family in September, 2022. The service was fabulous, and our server was extremely knowledgeable about the area and the wines served. The wine options delicious. Would return in a heartbeat.
