The RiNo district is a must see when in Denver! The murals are so vibrant. We did a walking tour on our own before heading to the airport and wish we could’ve had more time because there are so many to see. It is close to the Grand Central Market so recommend starting there and they have a parking lot next to it so you don’t park your car in the street

YUM! - great dinner at Mr. Oso's and great "healthy" ice cream treats down the street. Loved the murals on the buildings.

So much art to explore. Lots of bars and restaurants too. It was easy to get around by foot or renting an electric scooter, on a bike it was a bit more difficult maneuvering the alleyway with the crowds.

Very lively place (most of the bars close by 10 pm I think on weekdays). Full of nightlife. Good for bar hopping lovers.

The RiNo District in Denver has a delightfully eclectic mix of shops, delicious eateries, fun breweries, and incredible street art. Come in September to enjoy the Crush Festival where you can see local and international street artists at work with a backdrop of live music, food trucks, and family-friendly entertainment. It’s one of my favorite places in Denver!!!

Maybe we were there on the wrong day or just managed to walk past anything remotely interesting without seeing it, but we walked all the way up Larimer Street & back down Walnut Street to Latimer Square (which is actually not a square but a pedestrian street) without coming across anything apart from a lot of disused warehouses which had been painted over in massive murals. The murals were impressive but the buildings appeared to be closed and empty. This was a Saturday morning so it is just possible they were only open during the week although many looked deserted. All in all rather disappointing.
However we did find a great diner called Snooze on the corner of Larimer & Park Avenue West which has a great breakfast menu and delicious vegetarian Buddha Bowl (servings are massive so we ended up sharing one between 2 of us & still couldn't finish it) We also went to one of the craft breweries where we had a good lunch so not entirely bad.
We walked 20 mins from our (excellent) hotel - The Ramble on Larimer & 25th Street - to the Denver Art Museum. The museum is great and has a very impressive collection of impressionist & 19th century European paintings. However we opted to take an Uber back as we felt very uncomfortable walking down pavements crowded with people sleeping rough. No one was aggressive & at no point did we feel at all threatened but it was not a good atmosphere.

I wouldn’t go out of your way but if you’re in the area why not. We thought it would be a bit better so were a bit disappointed after reading all the reviews on here stating it as a must do. Would say it’s average.

Abbiamo usufruito del e-tuk per visitare il quartiere di RiNo (River North) luogo della street art di Denver. Ottima scelta poiché a piedi non saremmo riusciti a vedere tutti quei graffiti, alcuni sono veramente molto belli.
Un’altra faccia di Denver che vale la pena di visitare, ma visto che non mi ha trasmesso particolare sicurezza, una visita con tour o appunto con e-tuk la consiglierei.

This is a great district to walk through - there are so many amazing murals, in addition to lots of restaurants and breweries to stop on if you need a break. We read that the best portion to walk was Larimer st and Walnut st. between 26th and 31st, but we found great art on Larimer starting right downtown. Worth an hour or so at least to walk!

Se puede ir en coche y es fácil de aparcar (está en las afueras). Recomiendo dar una vuelta en coche para ver los grafitis en fachadas y persianas (dispersos y distantes). Luego ir hacia el mercado central y allí ya visitar su interior y alrededores donde hay bares y restaurantes que están bien, de más estilo europeo que americano en varios casos. (se agradece si ya llevas un tiempecito en ruta americana). Pasadas las 21h aún había gente en las terrazas aunque por internet leía que estaría todo cerrado.
Fui un martes después de las 17h así que ya habían cerrado las galerias de arte.
En general Denver es prescindible de visitar si se va con tiempo justo. Es preferible dedicar el día hacia East Park, montañas rocosas.
