I read your comment and I felt bad becsue I dont think you got the true meaning or "feel" for the southernmost point. It isnt about the monument it is about the view out over the water to the horizon and that is were so may sailors found the island. I cant help thinking about making that trip as I enjoy the beautiful sky, rolling waves and birds that all enjoy the area. One think I learned about KW many,many years ago is that the scerene "atmosphere" is worth the trip. I have been visiting since I was a little boy 55years ago. Hope you enjoy a little more during the next visit.
