We hired Aquarius for the day for my dad's birthday, we had a great time, weather was perfect which added to the enjoyment. There were six of us plus the dog, barge was good size, clean and well equipped. We stopped for lunch at the Cheshire Cat, which was very nice and well worth a visit. Colin, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this company.

Today we had the best day for my husbands 40th birthday. Was with my Husband and 3 young children and from my initial email asking about availability to meeting Colin today at the boat was seamless.
Colin is so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, fantastic help, showed us everything we needed to know before taking a boat out alone!
The boat was fabulous, we all had such a great day (even in the heatwave).
We stopped at the Cheshire Cat pub for lunch which was really lovely.
Fantastic day out. Can’t wait to return. I can’t recommend this place highly enough (also next to the ice cream farm for a little extra treat on the way home).

Colin was absolutely fantastic. Very friendly, helpful and courteous, couldn't ask for more. The boat was clean and well equipped for a lazy day cruising along the canals of Cheshire. We had a lovely time accompanied by the bonus of being able to bring along our 4 legged friend.

Excellent day out, very Professionally run business, Colin an absolute gentleman very helpful and supportive. Booking was easy relevant paperwork all done online. Colin met us on the day and showed us what to do and away we went. I took my fiancé and 2 year old daughter plus my sister, Dad (who is 86 years old) my Auntie and Uncle came too. Directions to the Marina were spot on, Marina well laid out other boaters helpful and polite. I would highly recommend this day trip and service to everyone, it was fun and excellent value for money.

An excellent day today on the Daydreamer boat. We met Colin at 10am and he spent some time with us in the marina showing us how to handle the boat and turn around . The boat was clean and spacious and we enjoyed a great ( but super slow) cruise up to Beeston. We turned around there moored up and enjoyed a nice lunch on the boat and a walk up the canal. We got back in half the time with the nerves gone and our confidence increased in handling the boat. A fantastic day out that I'd recommend to anyone.

great attraction for kids, mums and dads and grandparents, time to moor up for a bacon sandwich fry up, then let the kids explore the loch at the end, and a drink in the canalside pub on the way back

We all had a wonderful day on the canal boat, very relaxing and beautiful scenery. Boat well equipped with all you need and clean. Colin the owner was very friendly and welcoming. The whole family enjoyed the adventure, highly recommend!

Great day out with family lovely and peaceful would go again fully recommended had a lovely meal in the shady oak we sailed in a boat called the aquarius which was excellent Chester day boat hire was perfect for our family
