Captain Seth was great! funny and knowledgeable! The ride was great! Had to try several locations to find one where the fish/sharks were biting! Everyone caught something! We did a 4 hour trip. It takes a bit to get out into the ocean so you have to kind of think that through when choosing how long to go out. I would not recommend taking small children. It can get pretty choppy out there.

I planned a weekend trip to Hilton Head for my husband’s birthday. Going charter fishing was meant to be the highlight of the weekend. Capt. Tyler and the Gale Warning made for a perfect trip! Tyler was talking to us about all the fishing, the affect of the seasons, etc. He brought us around to some great little fishing spots. My husband and I had an absolute blast! Truly made his birthday weekend special. Thanks so much for a great Saturday of fishing!

Fishing was ok. Captain Mike (the big meat head guy) was a jerk though. Disappointing that he was not nice at all.

Great and fun trip! Beautiful day on the water and Capt. Stephen was so helpful! Water was smooth and the fish were biting! My husband caught two nice Spanish mackerels. We also caught lots of pin fish.

It was a great afternoon of shark fishing. Everyone in our group of 6 caught at least one shark. Mike was especially great at making sure everyone in our group had a great time.

Jeff and Mike exceeded all our expectations. They took my friend, our 2 sons (7 and 12 years old) and myself out to catch some sharks. We got rained out earlier in the week and Jeff worked hard to accommodate a reschedule as he knew my 7 year old was disappointed. He came through big time! We got out later in the week and hooked us up with 7 blacktips in 4 hours. Some as large as 5 1/2 feet. The kids minds were blown and so was mine. Mike helped out on deck and made it fun for the kids. He was also very informative on technique and knowledgeable on fishing We take a regular summer vacation to HHI and I won't consider anyone else in the future.

The crew was amazing knew where to fish very knowledgeable and everyone in my group of six was catching fish all types of fish not to mention the catch of the day a 9 foot Bull Shark. Will definitely use them again. If you serious about catching some real fish this charter is for you. I would recommend at least 8 hours you won’t be disappointed.

Captain Jeff and Mike treated my family and I to wonderful adventure. This was our second trip on True GRITS and we plan many more. They do a great job of making sure everyone has a wonderful from my grandchildren to my land loving wife.

My 16 year old nephew and his friend along with my father went shark fishing on the Gullah Gal on July 13, 2021. They had an amazing experience!! Captain Stephan was a pro and the boys each caught 3 or 4 sharks.. a few were over 3 feet long!!! Highly recommend this charter!!!!

Captain did a great job of finding the fish and taking good care of us. We kept him hopping between adding bait and pulling fish with no down time. As soon as we hit bottom, we had a bite. We'll be back.
