Had a really excellent day out on this value for money trip. I'm definitely not keen on being a passenger on a bus & had some anxiety about the mountains as we'd hired a car & driven through them on a previous holiday & knew how high & windy the roads are, but our driver [Pepi?] was excellent, driving carefully & slowly, particularly around the more bendy bits. Our guide was also excellent (sorry forgot her name!), but incredibly knowledgeable & enthusiastic about this beautiful island.
I booked fairly last minute & had to check with the company where pick up was, & it almost seemed too good to be true they would collect from our hotel which was a little outside the Port of Alcudia, but it all went smoothly.
Slight criticisms (& not something the company can control as these are generally available to everyone), was the boat trip & the tram from Soller Port which were both really crowded. As we were there with family & our two very young grandchildren, it was difficult & a real crush to get on & disappointing not being able to sit together. In addition, we assumed the vintage train would go all the way to Palma, (although it was explained why it wasn't possible). However, it was probably a long enough & very packed day without that extra train journey, & we all agreed it had still been a brilliant & very memorable day.
