What do you get to do with the horsemanship experience? Is there more riding than with the pony ride? Any big differences between the two options?Trying to decide on the best one to do with my 5 year old. Thanks
Typically, horsemanship refers more to the care of horses, rather than just riding. If you feel your child has the attention span to listen to the wrangler about how to pick hooves, groom, etc., it can be a fun way to learn about horses, as well as do a little guided riding. If they just want to ride, I would recommend the Pony Ride, as it is less informational and less expensive. I also agree with the comment above, regarding payment for the parent rider.
