Friendly staff greet patrons at the door and give a thorough briefing of safety and different ways of handling an axe. There is no liquor allowed at this time as they are awaiting their liquor license but there are snacks and soft drinks at the bar.
If you are not a fan of loud noises, an ear plug may help, but your ears will get desensitized fairly quickly- until you hear ricochet of a stray axe that failed to stick properly.
We had Miles as our instructor who kept his eye on us the whole time; leaning in with suggestions that helped us to gain a couple bull’s eyes!!! Yea you!
It was our first time there and it was spent mainly getting used to the weight, the trajectory of the axe in relation to your release, and proper throwing posture with adjustments.
This was fun, and although I was expecting to hurt the next day, I was fine.
It would have been nice to be able to drink a few and relax but we’ll have to revisit when they obtain their liquor license, although I feel my throwing will probably not be as accurate with alcohol coursing through my veins! 😂
I Highly recommend to check this place out.
There were three of us for about two hours which came up to a total of about $94 which seems pricey, but it was worth the learning and the laughs.

It was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and we returned again the following week. I recommend Blade and Timer, for family and friends, including children.

Tried something new with the wife. Dope experience. Took some time for her to get it down but after the trial I was on it and scoring big points.

Family fun for 2 adults & 3 teens!! First time and glad we decided to try this! Seemed dangerous at first, but the staff was reassuring with the 3 drink limit for all drinkers. With a quick lesson in safety & demonstrated proper axe handling. My 13 year old son enjoyed it as well as the girls. BYOB & snacks as well. They kept our beverages chilled in their refrigerator & provided kroc sandals, free of charge, since you must wear closed toe shoes. We will definitely be back!! Well worth it! Priceless memories!

We had a great time at B & T. It was my first time and my wifes second time. After a quick lesson from the fantastic staff we were throwing bullseyes in minutes. Highly recommend.

Whole family enjoyed it! Kids v adults, boys v girls, etc. easy to get the hang of but a wild throw every now and then. Plenty of coaching and super safe. Highly recommend!

The Staff was very helpful and welcoming. We appreciated the clear instructions on how to be safe and successful in our technic. It was super awesome when they came by midway and shown the boys new tricks. We had fun competing against each other.

This was our first time Blade & Timber and our coach Rachel was absolutely awesome. She was friendly, helpful, super funny, lively, and was there to make sure we had a great time and felt comfortable. I will definitely be revisiting this place again soon.
