“Great short hike”

このホテルが素晴らしい短いハイキングです。 またジップライニングが備わっている。ハイキングコースの 1 つのエンドには、実際泳ぐ、自然の泉もできる。 私たちは私たちはスイミングませんでしたプールは実際は美しい滝に行きました。 水は冷えません。とはそれがことリフレッシュでき、暑い一日行ってきた。

Difícil Tránsito para discapacidades o personas mayores

El lugar es bonito sobretodo la naturaleza pero las personas con necesidades especiales les es demasiado difícil o imposible transitar ahí . Inclusive los senderos están en muy mal estado ! Deben prevenir en la entrada acerca de eso

Bel posto da visitare! Immerso nel verde tutto il percorso in ponti sospesi da una parte, poi si arriva alla bellissima cascata! Più avanti si trova una specie di piscina molto carina con l’acqua freddissima dove ci si può comunque fare il bagno. Il problema è stato che come ogni posto che abbiamo visitato in questo paese, pur essendo a pagamento, ci trovi la gente del posto con minimo 10 bambini ragazzini che prendono la rincorsa e si tuffano vestiti in continuazione, urlando e facendo casino! Ora mi domando come è possibile una cosa del genere? Perché in un luogo privato a pagamento per turisti, venga invece permesso alla gente del posto di entrare, con borse frigo, marea di bambini e disturbare senza educazione e ne rispetto verso sia il posto che verso le persone…. Perché? Non ho mai visto in un museo o qualsiasi altra attrazione da visitare a pagamento, che ci siano famiglie che si stabiliscono tutto il giorno a fare casino come pazzi! Cercate di cambiare sta cosa perché è ridicola! In tutti gli altri paesi che ho visitato non ho mai visto una cosa del genere!

Think twice before paying to see this waterfall

Entry to the Chorro El Macho is $5/person just to see the waterfall, and an additional $2.50 to swim in the natural pool. We were told at the entrance that the “hike” to the waterfall took 15-20 minutes. That was completely inaccurate. The walk (it wasn’t really a hike) took 5 minutes (7 if you walk really slowly) to get to the waterfall (i.e., el chorro). When I asked a staff member about the statement that the hike took 15 minutes, he responded that it was 15 minutes round trip. The waterfall was pretty, the air was fresh, and the setting was calm, but the experience was not worth $5/person. We were disappointed and felt cheated! We spoke to others visiting at the time who noted feeling similarly disappointed. Thankfully, we had decided not to swim in the natural pool because we would have been even more upset about spending money there. Granted, $5 isn’t much when you’re traveling; still, the Chorro El Macho isn’t worth it. Save your money and go for a hike to the India Dormida for $3/person for foreigners. You’ll see a waterfall, though smaller than the one at Chorro El Macho, on the way to the top and will experience beautiful views of the Valle de Anton once you climb all the way to the top.

Chorro Del Macho ... not so macho

Well, I thought this place will create more emotions, but it didn't. It is worth to visit, although it takes circa 4 hrs to get to this place from Panama City.
El Chorro Macho, named also Chorro Del Macho is a place in th ewoods with some wooden narrow bridges, "natural" pool and tirol. Visiting this place takes circa 30 minutes with no rush.
At the entrance you have a small shop and tickets office. In February 2023 the costs were as follows:
5 USD entrance
2,5 USD swimming in the pool
20 USD short 60m tirol slide
60 USD longer tirol slide
It is nice place, very green, very quiet, nice waterfalls, but ... well, for me something was missing in here. Definitly has potential for more good feelings.

Great zip line experience

They a 4 stop zip line which takes you right by the Falls. Guides (Luis and Ricardo) were courteous and safety conscious. It was about 2 hours from start to finish. The hike through the jungle is pretty steep. The pool would be nice to cool off in on a very hot day.

Fácil, sencillo y relajante al sonar de las aguas

Visitamos el lugar por su piscina natural la cual no estaba abierta al público en ese momento porque estaba en reparación o mantenimiento, pues solo hicimos el sendero para ver la cascada, algo muy pequeño de unos 10 minutos de caminata y super fácil, pasando unos puentes colgantes, vale la pena si quieres ver algo fácil con una hermosa cascada al fo al fe camino

my boyfriend and I enjoyed the hike very much not so much for the intensity but because our tour guide Edwin Perez was very knowledgeable. he took his time to share with us his knowledge of the fauna and the regions history. we conversated practicaly about everything and anything pertaining to panamas culture, it’s history, holidays, wild life etc.. definitely worth the tip.

Das war es uns nicht wert

Wir sind hingegangen , eigentlich auf etwas Hoffnung auf Abfrischung.
Die Preistafel sagte 5Dollar Eintritt und 5 Dollar wenn man badet.
Nun fanden wir Panama eh schon teuer-also für uns deutsche-aber das grunzt an Frechheit und Habgier.Überall in Costa Riga, Peru, Mexiko oder ganz Südamerika haben wir große Wasserfälle gesehen , viel schönere und größere und haben bei den wenigstens etwas bezahlt. Für so kleine lokale Spots für 30 min 10 Dollar abdrücken ...Frecheit
Wir sind dann weiter und konnten Tukane , Faultiere und Gegos neben der Straße entdecken , das war mehr wert als so ein mickriger Wasserfall

Rip off . Ten minutes walk to a waterfall on boardwalk through a tropical forest. No wildlife . Boring …waste of money and apparently the Zip lines for over $70 are short.
