The owner and staff of the Sinanami Roman bicycle rental shop were very honest, sincere and helpful. They had several high-quality bicycles for rent, including 24 -speed Giant “cross” road bikes (which I rode) and e-bikes bikes (which my wife used). The prices are lower than what we had seen at some other rental locations.
As it was my wife’s first time to ever ride an electric bike, they were very patient in explaining how to use it, including how to restart the motor if it times out after a long break. The owner gave us directions on interesting places to go, and the return process was very smooth, allowing us to easily make the ferry back to Inomichi from the Setoda terminal, which was right across the street from the shop.
We had a wonderful experience!

In a VERY quiet town, and in off season, we needed some food after a long cycle.
The friendly and welcoming man here made sure that we and others were served quickly with both food and drink, especially with pressure of an imminent ferry departure.
Rice balls and freshly, prepared potato fries were very good, and the drinks were refreshing,
