We embarked from the port of Santa Marina for the Stromboli panarea excursion, the experience was fantastic the places visited suggestive and fascinating.
On the way there are bathing stops, one in particular in calajunko near Panarea.
The very friendly and professional cabin staff made us feel comfortable.

We went on the Stromboli / Panarea evening trip. It was a delight from start to finish. The crew were so friendly and welcoming, the swimming stops were amazing (the water was like a bath!), and the views all spectacular. We had lunch on Panarea, and ate dinner on board (pasta with squid - delicious!). Stromboli dutifully erupted for us after dark, and we were lucky enough to have no moon on the way home, so saw the Milky Way and millions of stars. I really wanted to do another trip with them, but alas, we ran out of time. Maybe another year!

My partner and I were passengers on Salina Relax Boats’ tour (vessel Lady Salina) on Wednesday 28th August for a trip from Salina to Panarea and Stromboli Islands.
The trip was marred by a horrendous storm when attempting to return from Stromboli to Salina. It was both incredibly distressing and extremely dangerous.
Prior to these events, we had a fabulous day, thoroughly enjoying the swimming and sightseeing. The events of that evening however resulted in not only a dangerous trip but some injuries to both myself and my partner.
We had a number of points of concern - firstly, it is unclear why the captain chose to leave Stromboli and head into the storm at 7:15pm when other boats had left earlier to beat the storm. Surely it would have been wiser to leave earlier or safer to sit tight at Stromboli (on land) until the storm front passed. Our friends on other tours were notified at 5:30pm for immediate return however we (passengers of Salina Relax Boats) were not instructed to return until approx. 7:15pm.
Additionally, we were sitting exposed at the front of the boat and were at no time instructed to move inside or take any other precautions. We hit very large sea waves (advised later by the captain of between 4-5 metres) and were being thrown around which was very dangerous. We were repeatedly thrown from our seats before we elected ourselves to crawl along the deck while being smashed by waves. During this time we were sliding around the deck uncontrollably and we sustained injuries to our backs, shoulder and buttocks (with bruising sustained) and I jarred my knee with minor soft tissue injury.
Finally, it took the pleas of my partner and other passengers to convince the crew to head to Panarea due to the extraordinary distress of those on board. It was a terrifying journey. Passengers were screaming, vomiting, praying and meditating and we genuinely felt we may have capsized in the torrential storm with likely catastrophic consequences. It would seem appropriate that finding the closest land to take cover during such an event would be reasonable though this was not the priority with the captain trying to return to Salina. The captain eventually saw fit to divert to Panarea to ride out the storm and it was not surprising that some passengers were so terrified that they refused to get back on the boat when leaving Panarea to complete the journey to Salina. They instead elected to remain overnight in Panarea at their own cost.
While we were very grateful to the captain for navigating us home alive, we do feel that we were placed at unnecessary risk that resulted in several injuries and much distraught. We were all extremely lucky that a worse outcome did not eventuate. We have been in close contact with several other passengers that we became friends with on the tour who were equally aggrieved and shared our concerns.
We raised all these issues with the Salina Relax Boats ticket booth staff the following day and were advised to write to the company. We wrote three times to the company and never received any response at all.
We would strongly encourage enquiring about safety practices before considering booking a tour with Salina Relax Boats and given their total lack of response to our many emails, I would strongly suggest they have a poor regard for their passengers.

Hello a wonderful experience with this group, a fantastic boat excellent crew, we made two excursions that made us immerse in the crystal clear waters of the salt pans in Panarea and Stromboli with the pasta dishes on board really delicious, thanks to Alessandro who made us dream together with Marco Tommaso, if we return we go to Alicudi and Filicudi, thank you very much

This year with my partner we decided to spend two days in Salina with our children aged 7 and 9 and on the second day we chose a boat ride to immerse ourselves in the crystal clear waters. What about wonderful ride! Sailor Marco a true Pro and together with his helper made us have fun and dive into unique places. Alessandro, another member of Salina relax boats, caught the attention of our children telling us the story of Geronimo, a centenary caper plant on the island and we could not resist buying the children's book that tells just about Geronimo. The reading has begun and we are curious to discover Marco's role in this adventure.

My boyfriend and I, first time in Salina, decided to have a boat experience, deciding to take a tour of the island in the morning and then continue with the second afternoon/evening tour to Panarea and Stromboli with sunset and dinner on board.
Salina Relax Boat staff was kind and fun, delicious pasta and relaxation assured.
If you feel like relaxing and enjoying beautiful places, rely on them!

I boarded Lady Salina for a boat ride, unaware that I would admire what the Aeolian Islands offer. I realized my dream of watching the spectacular dolphin game and had the pleasure of meeting a unique crew.
Salina relax boats not only offers a boat ride but offers added value.... Thanks to Alessandro's welcome, Kevin's courtesy and professionalism, Tommaso's irony, Sergio's charisma and exquisite cuisine and Captain Simone's pragmatic confidence.
Recommendation to everyone, both for families with children, and for young and old.

The Stromboli tour was exceptional.
The staff on the boat were fabulous and incredibly welcoming. They took the time to spend time with each of the guests and were super funny. You really felt like they were thrilled to have you on board and show you their backyard.
Great music played on the bow for the trip keeping a cool vibe while some just lay on the upper deck taking in the sun's rays.
The tour itself was well laid out with multiple swimming spots, town visits and exploration of various island highlights.
If Stromboli hadn't turned on any volcanic activity, the rest of the day was well worthwhile in any case!
Stromoli was as reliable as ever and quite spectacular.
Probably the best tour any of us have been on!

We sailed with Relax Salina on their full day excursion to Panarea and Stromboli. We had such a wonderful day! Our day included 3 stops for swimming, in addition to a stop at each island to sight see/grab food (on your own). Not to mention the pasta & wine as we enjoyed the views of Stromboli erupting in the evening. Great views, good service, and informative insights on the Aeolians!

We have been on the relaxing salt pan on several occasions, the Stromboli Panarea tour, Filicudi alicudi, and also the Salina island tour.
The experience that the boat offers is unique, in addition to the breathtaking landscapes that can be admired, the swimming stops are the setting for every outing.
On the boat there is a carefree atmosphere, the crew is young, as is the commander Simone who is also very nice.
Thanks again for these days spent on the boat because they were magnificent.

Siamo un gruppo di 4 adulti e 4 bambini di 9, 5, 4 e 1 anno.Saremo nella splendida Sicilia dal 4 al 10 agosto e vorremmo fare una gita nel pomeriggio e sera, per vedere più isole e soprattutto le eruzioni dello stromboli.
Quali sono le tariffe, gli orari ed i giorni disponibili?

Ciao. I prezzi sono più o meno uguali per tutti gli operatori in zona. Una gita di una giornata con partenza attorno alle 10 del mattino e rientro a mezzanotte circa - Panarea & Stromboli - con spaghetti in barca costa 70 euro a testa. Accertati che si siano finalmente muniti di bancomat.

Hi - Sorry I hit the send button prematurely.
We will be in Salina from Sept. 15-18, 2017. We are interested in the doing the boat trip to Stromboli and climbing the volcano.
Is the trip on a daily basis?
Do we need to reserve ahead of time?
Rather than bringing hiking boots, we would like to rent them - is there a preferred vendor and do we need to reserve them.

Heading to Salina and Panerea February 20-March 2. I know this is the off season-What excursions can be in store? I think Stromboli is essential?
