Sláinte.

I'm hoping to spend a few weeks in Donegal this summer chun feabhas a chur ar mo chuid Gaeilge. Could you tell me if the area you're situated in is suitable for this?

Go raibh maith agat.

It was certainly central for our purposes. We were visiting our mother and doing a little sight seeing in the area. Perhaps if you asked the hotel staff they would be able to better advise you. The hotel was lovely and the staff super friendly and helpful.

You're perfectly situated in that area, but make sure to travel round and ask folks to speak as gaeilge and let them know you're learning!! You also need to visit our friends in Teach Coll (Machaire Rabhartaigh) for food!! Bain sult as!!!!!!!!

Not sure I fully understand your question...if you are planning on taking classes at Oideasn Gael in Glencolumbkill it's about 65km away. If you are looking to converse with the locals, most of the folks born there seem fluent. I would recommend you call or email James, one of the owners. He is super helpful.
