I would like to visit here in Christmas eve. My flight is going to arrive around 15:30 at Heathrow.
Can I listen to the choir starting from 16:00 despite being late for the time, and what is the difference between the 3 choir, starting from 16:00, 23:00 on 24th December and 8:00 on 25th?
Sorry for not replying to your question sooner.
I'm afraid that if you are only scheduled to land at Heathrow at 15.30 there is no chance you will make it to the cathedral for the 16.00 carol concert. It is extremely popular and queues to enter often form up hours in advance. It will certainly be fully attended.
Better to aim for the midnight Eucharist, a typical Christmas service in many churches and cathedral's. This starts at 23.30 and doors will open at 22.30. Again it is very popular and queues will be forming up from well before that.
Note that the 08.00 Holy Communion service on 25 December does not have our choir involved. The services at 11.00 and 15.15 that day do.
