Is there any night bus from the main amphitheater to Athens or Nafplion ?? And far from the theatre to the bus stop ??

Better to take a taxi from the theatre to those cities ? If better, should book it in advance ? Difficult to get without booking ??

Thank you very much !!

This is from my review of the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus: "From Nafplio, a special bus on performance nights (Fri. & Sat.) leaves the bus station at 7:30, returns about midnight, for 8 euros roundtrip; only 50 seats, so buy tickets ahead (you may have to do this in person). There's a bus from the town of Archaea Epidaurus too, but our hotel owner gave us a ride, and we caught the bus back—no problem." The theater festival is seasonal; I'm not sure if buses run at night when there are no performances. They park next to the beginning of the walkway up to the amphitheater itself—very convenient. (A flashlight might come in handy for walking back down in the dark.) I'm not sure whether you would have book a taxi, but a taxi to Athens would be expensive; maybe you could take a taxi or bus to Corinth and from there catch a train to Athens.

Thank you very much, Brian. Taking a special bus or staying at a hotel in Archaea Epidavrou sound good for me. I’ll look up the bus and some hotels in Archaea Epidavrou, then will chose better one. Thank you !
