We expected quiet, pretty, low key. What we didn't expect was the overall relaxation factor was the best ever. Gorgeous setting, easy access to very good food, drinks, activities. Adults only. Quiet. Nice guests. Easy. Lovely. Not a five star resort but a five star...続きを読む
My husband and i will be at Palm Island for 8 days in early June. I have a question regarding the dress code for dinner. Says long pants and collared shirts for men. Do they enforce that? The reason I as is that if it is warm and humid I know my husband would prefer to wear shorts which he still could wear with a collared shirt and look nice. I haven't told him that wearing shorts to dinner might not be an option. If it's not, I probably won't tell him until he is packing.
What has been your experience with dinner dress codes?

My husband wore nice tailored shorts (just above the knee in length) as did a number of other men. This was quite acceptable.
I really want to do the trip to see the beautiful Tobago Cays, but I'm a non swimmer so would not be able to snorkel, have others been but just stayed on the Yannis and admired the view instead of snorkeling?

The views are stunning and we would have enjoyed the trip without the snorkeling. The crew is friendly and helpful, pour a mean rum punch and served a delicious lunch.
Go! Enjoy one of the most awesome places on the planet!
