We have arrived on Saturday 13.5.2017 and stayed for one night until Sunday. The price for one person per cottage was 10000JPY. Late check out would cost few thousand Yen, which is kind of annoying, especially when most of the cottages were empty.
Every cottage offers bathroom with shower and tub. Also toilet. There are two floors - the main floor and the upper floor. On the upper (under the roof) floor is one bigger room with tatami. Downstairs, just across the hall is another smaller room with two big tatami beds (bed with tatami, no matress). Sheets and blankets were provided. There were actually stored more blankets upstairs, probably for up to 10 people.
The kitchen, which is downstairs in the second half of the cottage is fully equipped with untensils, cups,... (you get the idea). Also fridge with freezer, rice cooker, microwave, toaster. In case you forget something, you can buy or rent quite big variety of stuff in the main building. From eggs or basic BBQ food, to blankets, bikes for kids, balls,...
The area is really quited, the only sound can be people BBQing. But nothing annoying. What was annoying was the fact, that although all windows have had a bug nest, there were many bugs near the windows. Once you touched them, your hands would stink a lot. But fortunately, bug duct tape was provided. So no problem with me.
If you are not into cottages, you can rent a tent space or car trailer space. Even bungalovs were there. For those, another quite big house with toilets and showers was available. If you need to, you can use coin laundry as well
You can also pay about 200-300JPY to catch a fish in kind of a reservoir near the main building. There is also a river which could be fun in hot summer. Oh and nearby, we saw few monkeys. But absolutely no troubles with them.
