Old but large. Awesome view. Good location.

Literally a minute away from Mitake Shrine's torii gate entrance and a short walk to the cable car (it's #23 on the map). We dropped off our bags in the early afternoon before we continued hiking. It a beige house at the end of the souvenir shops/restaurants that all close at 4:45 pm. It gets a bit chilly at night in late November. The whole place is dated but the room we got is ginormous with a pretty incredible view of the mountains, also nice lit with lights at night. There's a 6-tatami living room with a kotatsu (table with heated blanket), a tv (all Japanese channels), hot water dispenser, and a space heater that works fairly well but beeps every few hours. The room is 17 tatami with a closet full of futons and bedding, plus a seating area overlooking the mountains. There are only a few rooms here (very steep stairs). Shared toilets (clean but a bit smelly) and a really clean but small shared bath each for men/women with amenities. No wifi or anything else to do here except to relax. They gave us a lot of food for dinner (at 6pm) and breakfast (at 8pm). It's run by a nice family - they substituted a lot of seafood for one of us who doesn't eat that because we mentioned it on the booking site. They also sell decent homemade baked goods at the door.…
