Having a great holiday in this lovely hotel full of charm. My daughter and I are staying for a week and we have enjoyed the excellent hospitality and breakfasts! Staff are polite, professional and extremely helpful. We are being totally spoilt, chauffeur driven hither and thither, exploring other areas and collected after a hard day on the mountain. Our room has a fab vista, is toasty warm and very clean. Our beds are also super comfy. Open fire, sophisticated cocktails, pool table - what more could you ask?

My wife and I stayed here for 9 days to ski and snowboard and it's was perfect. The place is a bit dated but has so much character it doesn't matter. Situated ski in ski out on the slopes close to the Gondola its perfect position to ski or hit the bars restaurants that are walking distance. The price includes dinner and break fast and dinner is 4 COURSES which is beautiful! COURSES includes , lamb cutlets, steak, beef Wellington, oysters etc. breakfast was also great.
There's a beautiful common room with a 2 huge TVs a beautiful fire place which you can fire up when ever you like and beautiful views on to the slopes where nights ski happens.
2 hot tubs down stairs for men and women to soak after a day on the slopes along with a free washing machine to wash all you clothes which was handy after 8 days.
Rooms are large with a bath tub, heaps of closet space and 2 fold out couches I'm guessing for children.
We asked for a late check out as we wanted to ski up until lunch time and it was not a probem to check out at 1pm.
On the last day the owner dropped us to the train station which was very nice of home. Overall we can't say enough good things about this place. Stay you won't regret it!
(Also hire all your boards from "woodys" at the bottom of the hotel beat customer service I have ever received. Drive us in his car to his larger shop, fitted us with all our gear and drive us back to our hotel. Also said to leave the gear at the hotel and he will pick it up on the last day. Also if you say your stayin at Hyutte Shiroi you get a discount. )
