伊豆急下田から車で20分のところにあります。伊豆半島の南の端っこ、石廊崎にほど近い小さなゲストハウスです。ダイニングやベランダでゆったりとした時間を過ごしていただけたら幸いです。

Located in the southern tip of Izu peninsula, the Asian taste facility was established from scratch by the owner/hostess several years ago. It is very well maintained beyond the level of guest house. You cannot expect ocean view from this facility, but within half an hour drive, you can reach many kinds of pristine beaches, trekking tracks along phenomenal sea view and diving spots. Balconies overviewing forests are exceptionally comfortable for drinking, eating, bird-watching and net surfing.
At the time of my stay, other guests stay with each unique purposes; cooking, driving, diving, etc. The owner/hostess is talented in gluing the guests together friendly in the living dining room rather than secluding them privately.
Although dinner is not served in the facility, the guests can cook in the kitchen of the facility if requested. Sea foods and vegetables harvested in this peninsula are available at local market at reasonable price. The owner/hostess will drive you to a couple of restaurants nearby if requested. Unless you drink alcohol, driving your own car provides wider selections for dining out.
Overall, the style of stay is not conventional to Japanese inn or pension rather akin to guest house in other countries. If you like that style, you will not be disappointed.

Great place to stay in Minamiizu, great atmosphere. Great breakfast with a wounderful view. Good matress and pillow and a also great relaxing onsen. The owner is really nice and helpful, she took us to a great small restaurant that would be impossible to find without help.
Highly recommended and I would stay there again.

小さなB&Bの宿です。海まで歩いてすぐ。下の海ではシュノーケリングや釣りが楽しめます。窓から海は見えないけれど、宿の周囲は緑がいっぱいでちょっとジャングルみたい。緑に囲まれたテラスで食べる朝食は最高のひとときです。オーナーのよしえさんはアクティブでフレンドリーで、ゆるい（笑）人。お客さん同士を上手につなげてくれます。

It's basically a B&B style accomodation. Nice-looking-made-in-Bali furniture sorround you during the stay. I felt i was in somewhere in the Asian beach resort. They offer you free breakfast and they're good both in taste and in quantity.
I've been to this guest house for a quite few times now and i'm loving it! The owner lady is so friendly. It seems that Minami-Izu has not much to do when it's not summer, but she offered us some plans to try during the day. I went to Shimoda-Park to see "Ajisai" flowers in June and they were beautiful.
The best time to visit there is, with no doubt, summer. There are many beaches around the area. You can take bus to visit them, or you can just walk to the shore and dive in. There are fish to see.
I recomend to stay here if you are going to Minami-Izu. The owner doesn't speak much English but she's used to communicate with non-Japanese visiters. (She's been traveling all over)
