Breakfast was good and hearty. Great way to start the day! The location is good if you are driving. There is a playground nearby with a gorgeous view of Mount Fuji. Mamasan and Papasan are the sweetest and friendliest host! They made our stay extra special.
This little hidden gem is a great place to stay in the shadow of Mt Fuji. Our group had two rooms, one with bunk beds and one with tatami mat flooring. Both were very nice. The bathroom was a common area but was private. The breakfast we had was just amazing. The owners were great. The night we arrived they served us green tea and sat an talked with us. At breakfast they chatted some more. Sharing stories and pictures. If I ever make back to Japan I surely want to go back here.
It is recommended place to stay near Mt. Fuji area. The lodge is amazing. Papa-san and mama-san (the owners) are super kind, friendly and always willing to help. Their worm hospitality made us feel like staying at home. Papa-san gave us a lift from the bus station and took us into the town and also took us and our friends to see the firework on Fuji's day even our friends stayed in different hotel! We will definitely visit them again.
