I got an airconditioned room with a king size bed on the third floor with its own ref, TV and hot and cold showers. For me this was luxurious accommodation given the options available in this far-flung island. Outside my room, there was a balcony from where one could see the lighthouse. The place was very clean and the staff displayed the warm, helpful, almost shy demeanor of most islanders here. I particularly enjoyed the small garden adjacent to the inn as it provided a cool and cozy nook to cocoon myself in, between excursions around the island and beyond.
We went to Basco as the start of our Batanes trip. Booked at Tawsen's Inn sine they have triple and family rooms available. The rooms were large, clean, quiet despite being in the middle of town. Walking distance to church, plaza, and Abad Street the main area for marketing. The staff os super helpful. Breakfast included with local food served. There is pick-up and drop off at the airport included in the price of the room. Overall rating: Excellent! Would re ommend Tawsen's Inn to my family and friends.

The toilet bowl has a bidet! 😄 - Staff were very friendly and helpful - Accessible to everything! Shops, restaurants, and airport. - Cable TV - Bikes are available and FREE of charge - Yummy breakfast I want to be back!!!
