View from the topmost rooms of the lodge give you a great sunset view of the main street, port and Basco light house at Naidi Hill. The lodge is also a 10 minute walk from the airport. It is quite accessible around town if you want to just walk or bike around. …
Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and if I go back to Batanes, would gladly stay in this lodge again! I'll recommend it to my friends. First, it is at the heart of Basco City. They have a lot of rooms that can cater to different group size or maybe single traveler. It is overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Basco Lighthouse and Port of Basco, so every morning, I can only be in awe of the view! The lodge has 3 different levels and I was lucky to be at the 3rd level where I have the best view of the surrounding, the only catch though is either you climb the so many stair steps or walk ascending a pathway. Good exercise though! Brandon's is near in almost all of the places included in a North Batan Tour and since it's within the city, it's nice to just roam around riding a bike like a local. Accommodation is just enough of what we paid for. It's not so bad, the beds, sheets and pillows are clean. Comfort room inside my room seems pretty new and spacious. Hot and cold shower available. There's aircon and LED cable television. Safety is not an issue since crime in Batanes is like non-existent (as per the stories) but we all felt safe roaming at night walking to our hotel. The staff are really nice, very accommodating. If we have questions on how to go where and get what where, they helped us. There were times that they are the ones contacting the transportation for us. They are really customer-oriented staff. And the good thing, none of them seem to be eager to get any tip or anything. They're just happy to help. The lodge doesn't have 24 hour room service, but they have a restaurant where you can eat breakfast, lunch or dinner. You just have to call and order in advance because unlike other restaurants, they don't have everything in their kitchen aside from the usual ones (i.e. eggs, spam, corned beef). There's also free Wifi at the restaurant and the staff can cook breakfast for you as early as 5:30am, though it closes at 10pm. Staying in Brandon's feels like staying at home. Would definitely stay here again next time!…
