Dear Shingodzilla, Thank you for taking the time to write about your recent visit the Wynhdam Grand. We’re delighted to read you found the room to be clean and stylish, as most of our guests do. We are very concerned about your other comments however. It appears there may have been a miscommunication regarding your offered discount. We do apologize that this matter did require a brief investigation, and we were happy to provide the discount as agreed. We have never had reports of brown muddy water in the hotel rooms at all. There was an instance with a water main break which caused some clouding of the water, but our water systems are fully filtered, treated, and regularly tested. Again, we are aware that your experience was not to the standards of Wyndham Grand and we wish to have another opportunity to welcome you back. The rooms are all non-smoking but when closed balcony door you can smoke on the balcony/terrace. At the restaurant Latitude 98 there is the left side of the terrace where there is a smoking section.

Thank you for your interest in our resort and your questions. Our resort has different room types available.
Pool Suite has no view of the Ocean.
Pool Suite Ocean View has the view but it is not Maldives Over water bungalow view. our resort is built on the hill of Kalim Bay and the houses are built above each other.

Greetings from Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay. No our resort does not have Kids Play area, kids club or kids entertainment. Our resort is not designed for kids, There are a lot of stairs up and down, build beautiful on the hill of Kalim, plenty of infinity pools and 10 to 15 minutes drive from the next beach.
There are plenty of hotels in Phuket which are geared at families.
