Hi! how were the nearby showers? was it a pay-shower? how much was it? thanks!
Just a question about camping here in general...I've read a few reviews on other sites from campers who were disappointed saying there was heavy fog while they were there even during July/August. We're planning a trip there in July but were concerned about this. I would think the rainy months (April, May) would be more prone to fog issues. Have those of you who visited in July experienced this? (I know there are no guarantees with camping weather, but just want to play the odds).
Can someone recommend a tasty fish/lobster restaurant not too far from Seawall campground? Or a place to have breakfast? We don't want to drive too far down the road after a long day.

I don't know if it's too late for your trip, but we ate at Charlotte's Legendary Lobster Pound which isn't too far away (maybe a mile or two at the most). They have fresh seafood, and I had the scallops the first time we ate there, and it was very good. It is a fun place to eat, with a lot of interesting things that are used as decor items (lobster traps under the picnic table seats, buoys, and other things as well.) They also have a small ball field and a little goat. They also have a big lobster pot right out in the open, and they used it for lobsters, clams, and other seafood, and also corn on the cob. It's basically a place where you order, and then you sit at picnic tables, but it may not be a good rainy day option (I don't recall seeing any indoor seating, or any kind of umbrellas over the tables, even though the area where the lobster pot is covered (it's a pavilion.)
