My visit started late at night and Cabanas was prepared. The crash of the waves helped me sleep and I woke up to an amazing beach. There were plenty of sun beds and the servers were very helpful throughout the day. The cabanas were clean...続きを読む
Cabana La Luna is quaint slice of barefoot paradise, and an incredible value for the price. It retains some of the laid back backpacker magic that I imagine is what drew people to Tulum decades ago - prior to the fashion blogger pack rolling in....続きを読む
Absolutely lovely hotel with comfortable rooms, perfect location and a tremendous staff that makes this a special place.
Was celebrating a birthday, with multiple rooms, various arrivals and departures and many different needs and requirements. Despite varied and fluid agendas Idoya and her team where...続きを読む
Such a beautiful, Mexican palapa style beach resort! It is located about midway down the Tulum beach stretch and seems to be one of the more reasonably priced hotels in this line-up. The service in the restaurant was excellent (though restaurant is fairly pricey by...続きを読む
Are there convenience type stores on the beach road? If so, is there one within walking distance of La Luna?
We are from Seattle & are going to La Luna in Feb. Concerning the Christopher Columbus room, is there space to hang your clothes & store your luggage. Also, are you right next door to other cabana? I assume the best part is the view of the sea from your deck. Please add any other rooms that might be of interest. Thanks, John

There's not much room to store luggage or hang things in Christopher Columbus. Certainly nothing like a typical rod in a closet at a hotel in the States. You are right next to Robinson Crusoe on one side and Casa Blanca on the other so privacy is minimal- and there is no ac. There are breezes all the time so it stays cool, but CC, Robinson Crusoe and casa Blanca get sand and rain blown inside during storms. The best part of CC is its proximity to the beach, not the views. If you need space, you'd be better off in Marrakech, where there is far more room to store stuff (although you still have a sort of stick nailed to the wall as a clothes rod). The views are awesome because Marrakech is a second floor unit with a much more private deck than Christopher Columbus. The deck is also much, much larger. The deck at CC is not at all private- everyone walks by it to get to the restaurant. That said, La Luna is a small property so there aren't a lot of guests in the first place. Another room to consider is captain dales- we haven't stayed there but it's far larger than CC and has an awesome deck with beachfront views. We like Marco Polos journey. While it has no view at all, its second floor, and super private. There is a full fledged closet with a real curtain rod.
We have an extensive beach but unfortunately we do not have a bolleyball court
