We stayed during the winter months at this campground. There was a lot of space and you can chose between a spot in the forest or nearbij the showers. The showers were clean and warm. Rangers also patrolled the campground on regular basis.

And there where walking a lot of wapiti's around witch I like a lot.
How much is the rate per night for this campground?
Hi Tripadvisor! I'm planning a trip to Jasper this summer and me and my group of about 7 others (for a total of 4 small tents on the site) would like to stay at the Wapiti campgrounds. I've researched extensively and the Wapiti campgrounds fit the bill the best for us, but we want as wooded in an area as possible. I anticipate my group wanting to have a fire well into the night, past the curfew- We wouldn't be loud or disruptive either way but the more secluded an area the better, as we would want the lowest chance of disrupting other campers. We don't mind if the camping area is compact, but we do need enough room for two vehicles (even if they close up the driveway into our camping area), a mini van and small car, and a fireplace. Electricity on the site would be quite awesome, but i don't need more than enough to power a stereo and maybe a coffee maker. Are there any sites at the Wapiti campground that would fit the bill here and if so what number would they be? I'm looking to book a site as soon as possible and would like to know which site to book in advance. Price is no object on this, if they do fluctuate depending on the spot.
Thanks for any help any of you can offer with this! :D

None of the camping sites have power. All the power sites are a parking lot. We walked most of the sites and there is a lot of trees. If you go on the Alberta parks website, you can do a picture view of each campsite. I hope... 続きを読む

Since I am coming from a different Country at the end of March and I would make sure to have the spot for the RV, is there any email address to contact to book a place in the Wapiti Campground? Thanks!
