A good location, with shared bathroom, sitting room and kitchen gathering point. Breakfast fruit, cereals, breads, jellies yogurts, coffee, tea and milk plus international conversation. A couple blocks from Avenue du Mt Royal and a neighborhood shopping/restaurant district provides many dining options available. Sharing traveling...続きを読む
My teenage daughter and I spent 5 nights in Apt. #1. It's a charming space, very comfortable and well equipped. Lovely front and back terraces to enjoy breakfast or just sit and read. The kitchen was stocked with coffee, teas, juice, yogurt, fruit, cereal, bagels,...続きを読む
I shared one room with a friend. It looked out into the street, but was very quiet. It is not in downtown, but a subway station is nearby to get you to wherever you need. The neighborhood was quaint and within walking distance to shops...続きを読む

We were in Montreal at the time of the Grand Prix (June) and various festivals and there was no problem finding on street parking we could use. There are restrictions to some areas regarding time of day and resident only, but it was easy enough to find an opening - and we left the car parked in the same place for 2 or 3 days as we used the metro to get around downtown, only driving out for Mont Royal. (Which we could have walked to but had planned to walk once there!) Jo is wonderful at guiding you to parking if needed so don't expect you will have a problem.
Can't recommend La Lanterne high enough to get a real Montreal feel - practice your French - it's appreciated even if the conversation resorts to English quickly!
What size are the beds please?
Is parking included? If not, how to park? Parking Garage? Street parking? Cost? I will drive from the USA and need to park for 7 days. Thank you.

Parking is not included but you can usually find a free public spot in our area. Note that for one week you Will have to change once cause they are cleaning the streets.
