We stayed in the ...Apple Tree room and we did not see a kettle - for tea I assume? There is a small wet bar in the common area with a fridge, drinks, sink and a microwave where you could fix tea if you don't mind using a microwave to heat the water. Having said that, I would send the ThistleDown House an email directly with your request and I'm sure they will be glad to tell you if your need could be accommodated. They were extremely helpful with all of our requests.
Jeffrey: Did you drive a Sherman Tank to park at the Thistledown House? Was it problematic that you could not find a McDonald's nearby?
We are from the heart of America and found the Thistledown to be an amazingly cozy and beautiful spot with gracious hosts. The shared breakfast was delightful and we very much enjoyed visiting with the other guests while sharing an array of wonderfully prepared and imaginative dishes.
I am offended by your review and refute your findings for all to see. Next time, look for a Motel Six near a Wal-Mart so that you have adequate parking.
