Free parking is available directly in front of the hotel.
Do the taxis take credit card. I have a walker, are the buses easy to get on and off.

Yes, all the taxis take credit cards. Everyone does! I rarely saw cash used on my 2 week trip. Just a little helpful advice on tipping; it is not a custom in Iceland to tip. Taxis are quite expensive but they are all new cars and spotlessly clean. Everyone speaks English. You may just have to learn how to pronounce properly where you are going. For instance, I also stayed for 9 days at the Hotel Alda, a well known boutique style hotel in Reykjavik. But in Icelandic language it is pronounced AlTa. You should have no trouble with pronouncing Hilton though. Taxis are always outside the Hilton in a taxi queue waiting for customers
The buses are usually one step up to enter. Especially the second door which is the furthest away from the driver. I think that would be easiest for you.
What may be hard for you is coming back to the US from Iceland. It is a little chaotic. Well, very. Nothing like the calm peaceful arrival. It's a long, long walk to the departure gates. You will probably also to have walk up steep stairs to enter into the airplane. It was a very windy day when I left and not an easy feat. I would call your airline ahead of time and ask. You may need for them to help you.
Iceland is a beautiful, beautiful country. As are the people and food. They are very proud of their country, rightly so. Drink the water from the tap. It's absolutely wonderful! Bring a water bottle or reuse one. Don't buy bottled water in the stores.
The Hilton is lovely and the Vox restaurant is outstanding. Their buffet breakfast is fabulous!
Have a wonderful trip. Iceland is by far, my favorite country to visit.
