I can honestly say that I stayed here 6 months and really enjoyed my time! The owners are so lovely and I’m glad I had the pleasure to meet them! Farm work is good and lots of it, after arriving on a Friday we starting working on the Monday. Highly recommend if you need to get your farm work done! This hostel is very social and filled with lovely people and always nice to take a dip in the pool after work or at the weekends! Also the trips to the beach at the weekends are a bonus 🙌
Me and my partner arrived here early may this year, when we got here Steve and Erin (the owners) made sure we were in the same room and even went as far as to get us working on the same farm. The farm we were on was great, we stayed there for our full 88 days and then some. We were very looked after on our farm, they bought us treats and occasionally lunch! The hostel has everything you need but obviously you have to understand that this is a hostel for people doing their regional work so occasionally there is mess and the kitchen can get crowned at normal meal times. It doesn't mean that the owners don't work hard to keep the standard of living as high as possible though! When we were staying here everybody was super friendly and the hostel almost felt like a little community, you can't drink in the hostel but there is still plenty of nightlife outside of the hostel walls. All in all Id highly recommend north bundy backpackers, Steve and Erin got us through our 88 days, they were super supportive and caring of us as guests and we will definitely be back to do our regional work for our 3rd year visas!
