We recently returned from a two-night here with our family, 2 adults and 2 children ages 13 and 16. We stayed in the Aracari bungalow which was fantastic. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for us with two separate bedrooms, plenty of sitting areas and storage...続きを読む
My husband and our three children (ages 13, 11, and 8) just returned from a week at Bosque del Cabo. What a wonderful week! The scenery and animals were amazing, the accommodations were gorgeous, and the food was wonderful. The staff is kind and friendly,...続きを読む
This resort was amazing because of the wonderful people who work there, the great facilities, the natural beauty, the food, the trails, and of course the scarlet macaws and the monkeys! Our family of 4 (2 adults and our 20ish sons) spent 4 nights at...続きを読む
Hi there ~ can anyone recommend the best shoes to pack? We are planning on doing a lot of hiking but don't want to pack our hiking boots. Or can anyone describe the trails (and off trails?)

We found Keen shoes or tennis shoes were fine. The most difficult hike is the path down to the Pacific Ocean just because it's a huge number of steps. The other trails are walking paths
We have a trip planned for Easter week and are trying to pack as minimally as possible to accommodate the local flight's 30 lb. maximum luggage weight limit. Is there a dress code for dinner or can we wear shorts, top and flip flops?

We are planning a trip to Bosque Del Cabo. We have heard how extraordinary Corcovado Nat'l Park is. How difficult -- and expensive - is it to plan a day trip to Corcovado from Bosque Del Cabo? And perhaps even more pertinent, how much more is there to see in Corcovado than locally around the lodge? I read a NYT article that said, as much as he loved BDC, the best wildlife the author saw was when he travelled from BDC to hike into Corcovado. Thanks!

We did not travel beyond the BDC area. We saw plenty of wildlife on the property which is extensive. We did not see any of the large cats and that might be more possible in the park itself but any such sighting is going to be 'iffy'. I have no idea about cost. BDC is expensive in my book, but I never felt we were getting less than our money's worth. Its a very good place.
"get one of the cabanas (or whatever they call them) right on the ocean. Breathtaking views!"
