I booked a staycation for my friend’s birthday and it was exactly what we needed. I did get a little lost trying to find it because I walked in the wrong direction down the Wharf but Ubers and Lyfts found it just fine when we were coming in and out. We got our welcome drinks spoke to kick off our stay and my friend was greeted with a special happy birthday treat inside our room. We had a perfect view of the boats on the water. We headed to the spa on day 2 and it was the most luxurious experience I’ve ever had. They take such good care of you with both the service and just making you feel comfortable. The sauna was incredible! I didn’t get a chance to dine in because we’d made reservations for restaurant week but I plan on visiting again to try their food and drinks. The balance between luxury and stylish is not easy to strike but I think they do an incredible job at the Pendry DC. The energy is laid back but the attention to detail is on point. Kaie’nne at the front desk checked me when I arrived my first night, and I was immediately feeling at ease. She gave me a run down of the spa options, the dining options... I tried all 3 restaurants at her recommendation and they all DELIVERED. Really beautiful spaces that all feel separate ... very lavish in an unstuffy, unpretentious way. Hope I get to return here - need to dip into that pool, stat.
Excellent service and amenities at Pendry Washington DC The Wharf. The hotel and its employees truly make you feel like you’re in the comfort of your own home. Perfect location to be at the epicenter of the Wharf action.
Took my wife here for her birthday. We had a wonderful time,with a beautiful View and tap match service. I Definitely was allergic to something in my room. My allergies Were horrible.I was sneezing and blowing my nose for 2 days straight with red watery eyes. Still a 5 star just would have made my stay a 100 times better if this didn't happen.
We enjoyed our Metropolitan Washington, DC Area Staycation during the December Holidays 2022! The fitness recreation areas - indoors and outdoors - in a word: Wonderful! It's always enjoyable to enjoy an outside swimming pool and jacuzzi in the Winter months when warm weather makes it suitable for exercise and rejuvenating opportunities.
