Dear Kristy and our valued guests,
Firstly, we are sorry for the confusion. As a representative of both hotels, 99 the Gallery Hotel and 99 the Heritage Hotel, we would like to point out that now both hotels are separated entities and higher managed by different managers. Although, both hotels appears similar, however, each hotels have different charms and clear directions.
We are sorry to may have caused this confusion as a reviewer might had suggested, he/she was correct to state that be cause at first launch, 99 the Heritage building was under the same management team and was just a separated extension wing (Heritage Wing) of 99 the Gallery Hotel for a few month from June 2016 - November 2016.
After the launch, for a period of time, higher managers had foreseen many difficulties in management of both hotels as one property and with many suggestions from guests to pack us up. Higher managers decided to separate both hotels apart as clearly as possible.
Since January 2017, 99 the Gallery Hotel remains, like as before, with 53 cozy Colonial Lanna rooms. 99 the Heritage became a separate hotel (under a new higher manager) and composes of Older Colonial Siam style rooms.
Hi,
i stayed at the 99 the gallery hotel a month ago, and my room was one of those pictured on trip TripAdvisor. I am not aware of a new wing and old wing. There are however two hotels: 99 the gallery (where i stayed) and 99 the heritage, adjacent, which was fancier and is also more expensive.
The Gallery is great quality for a lower price. i recommend it.
Hope this helps!
I don't recall any rooms with balconies, there was a walkway in front of the rooms. The new wing was not open when we there in June they were still building it. Our room in the old wing (only part when were there) was excellent. I did not see a family room
