Hi,
Rimping Village is about 20 minutes by walk to Thapae Gate, one of the gates of the old town. The hotel location is quite convenient. It is about 5 - 15 minutes walk to Night Barzaar and Anusarn food market, local restaurants, Rimping Supermarket, local market (Sanpakoi market), Warort market (The biggest fresh local market in Chiangmai). If you do not want to walk to the old town, the hotel can arrange a transportation for you (car, Red Car or local taxi, Tuk Tuk, van)
Regarding to the Breakfast, it is the buffet style with options of continental, Western, and Thai.

Normally we don't prepare gluten free food daily, we do it as requested. As you are on a strict diet, we could prepare the menu you require if you could let us know in advance. And you could also choose more choices from our available menu for gluten free food .
