Hi satisfy000, Room upsells are common in all hotels when guests decide to upgrade their room once arriving at the hotel. All hotels process these upsells as an additional charge to the original amount paid for a number of reasons including, as in this case, to ensure the third party provider the initial non-refundable booking was made through receives their commission. Your upsell was to our highest category suite, the VIP King Suite. Our records show that you signed for and paid the upsell amount at the time. The hotel uses dynamic pricing to calculate the daily room rates for all room types which means they may vary from day to day. This ensures that, depending on demand to the city on any given day, guests are receiving the fairest rate compared to the market conditions at that time. I never been there, but as far the others rooms I don´t think it is big enough to this. also the bathrooms are "open concept" with glasses only, not walls, so it may be similar in that room as well.
Interesting question.. I do not remember to be honest.. I think I could. But I remember the main grief I had with the room was its size and lack of a table or desk from where to work from.
