Our 9 night family holiday is sadly coming to a close. We’ve been to many resorts across Fiji and it’s islands but this experience is truly unique for so many reasons.

My husband and I agreed that this was the first holiday since having children where there were large segments of time where we both got to relax and have a chance to have a holiday ourselves. Our children really enjoyed the Bula club and the...続きを読む
If there is one review I must make, this is the one. It has been one week we've returned from this resort and every member of our family cannot stop still talking about the most perfect family holiday we had; to the point of already...続きを読む
We had an amazing family holiday here in March. We were looking for a holiday that delivered rest and relaxation for both the adults and the kids, and this resort certainly delivered. We had an amazing nanny Savarah for our 4 year old, who was...続きを読む
hi, what is the best way to get to the resort and what might the added cost be? Also are you able to swim in the ocean? Would we need reef shoes? is there any option to book accommodation without food included?

We took the food option, which is really your only choice, otherwise very expensive and there's nothing else around anyway. There's not much to do in Savu Savu
Hi. How is the actual beach. I like to lay in sun beds by the ocean. Is this possible?

Dear Laura Thank you for your enquiry. Our adult only relaxation space is at the waters/beach edge. We have very inviting chaise lounges on decks right on the beach area and also have double Fijian bures with queen size day beds and small tables at beach edge. If you stay in an Oceanfront bure you will have your own chaise lounges right on the edge of beach area. The views from all adult leisure areas are spectacular. You look across to a jagged mountain range on the other side of the bay. There are always spectacular sunsets from the day bed pavilions chaise lounge decks or beachside in front of the Oceanfront bures.
Hi, I would like to know the best way to get to the resort from Nadi & Savusavu when travelling with young children. Are there any recommendations for transfer companies etc.

There are several ways to reach Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort from Nadi. Island Hoppers offer a more premium service , which is a shared charter flight. Aircraft have big leather seats, picture windows and International luggage allowance. They usually have a morning flights which departs Nadi at 830am, but have other flight times depending on client demand. Afternoon flights are also on demand. Children under 2 travel free on Island Hoppers. Fiji Airways have two domestic services from /to Nadi to Savusavu. One at approx 7.40am & one at 230pm. Their return flights are one in the morning & one at 410pm.
If you book Fiji Airways domestic flights separately from their through airfare, the the luggage allowance is only 15kgs. If you book Lax/Svu (Savusavu) , Syd/Svu, Mel/Svu, Bne/Svu, Akl Svu etc. on a through ticket you receive 23 kgs of baggage for entire journey. There is also another Airport that Fiji Airways fly into/out of called Labasa. This airport is a 45 minute flight from Nadi, however it is a 90 minute transfer from Labasa to Jean-Michel Cousteau resort.( beautiful drive) The cost of this transfer is FJD 140.00 or FJD180.00 one way depending on the type of vehicle used. The transfer from Savusavu is 15-20 mins & is included in the tariff, There is also a seaplane option if this is appealing to you. Please do not hesitate to contact our office in Australia or US and we can help you further.
