Another question please. Breakfasr seems to be the only meal served . If that is the case, then are their cafes etc . nearby and within walking distance or is a car required?

If you ask ahead of time, Riki can make you a soup and salad supper. Also, you would want to drive to restaurants or take a taxi which Riki can order for you.
Do all rooms have private bathrooms.?
Since this is also listed as a hostel, should we expect more of a noisier ambiance than a quiet one?
Why are the deluxe suites or rooms more preferable?

We also had our own bathroom (a tiny one, but it served us fine). The furnishings are a bit rustic, which may account for the inn being called a hostel, but we found the atmosphere quiet - other than a neighboring dog! - and very homelike. I agree completely about the wonderful breakfast.
