Wonderful stay!
We stayed with Elizabeth and Satoshi for one night at the end of March 2023 and were so happy with our choice. From the warm welcome to soaking in one of the two private onsens (much appreciated after a drizzly day in Nikko!) to an extremely comfortable bed we really appreciated all of the special touches they offer. And the food! Dinner and breakfast were both impressive with delicious food and many choices, I'm very glad we chose to have our meals at the hotel.

Comfortable stay with yummy food
We loved this gableview forest Inn so much that we decided to extend our stay for 2 more nights. The dinner prepared by satoshi and liz was marvelous, all very yummy and generous- must try! We had very good quality rest every night. The bed was the most comfortable we've ever experienced! The place was quiet, had good privacy, and the suite was very comfortable with good space. Having a private onsen was such a treat too. Liz and satoshi were very very kind to offer us a lift when they could. Would definitely come back to stay again if we have a chance to.

Awesome Cozy Place
We stayed here only for one night in our Nikko visit. It was a good cozy Ryoukan being managed by a couple Satoshi san and Elizabeth. The place was wonderful right in the middle of trees as the name suggests. The stay was comfortable and without any fuss. The best thing were the owners. They were so kind and helpful. They obviously showed us the hotel as is customary. But, they also took us to Kirifuri falls as they had some free time on that day and then dropped us to the train station also. The breads and overall breakfast made by them was so awesome and fresh, we ate more than we wanted to. The place in itself was 3.5 stars... The last half is only for the owners. 😊
