Hotel is very near the jr station. Room are clean, a little small like japan's style. Breakfast is fine but you must reserve an hour to access. The only problem is the air conditioner fan that almost constantly emitted an annoying vibration noise.
Supposedly all met our expectation. However with regard to coin-laundry, hotel management could have done something. During our 3-days'stay. Almost impossible to use it, as some fellow guests who abused the security lock of the washing machine. Even though the cleaning cycle had long been completed. Some even kept it locked throughout the whole nights. Resulting in other users all were returned with their dirty stuff from time to time. So the management should consider to explore some measures. Otherwise, I would strongly suggest the security lock should be removed permanently. Hope upon our next trip could have it improved.

Travel with a group of friends to Beppu but only 4 of us decided to stay at Amanek for 2 nights. This was the best decision ever as we were closed to the JR station, eateries, Tokiwa shopping mall, Donki and the beach were within walking distance. Only few staff could speak English. Those who speak Japanese only also try their best to serve the guest. I am impressed by how clean and new the whole hotel is. Best of all, I love the free flow of juices & beverages. You could also do take away in the UCC coffee disposible cup. Love the choice of either western or local breakfast with free flow of side dishes. I am surprised by how big the bedroom is and spacious bathroom. The gym equipment tho basic, are new & in good condition. The onsen is clean & modern & I love the warm rooftop pool with an awesome view! Amanek is thoughtful to provide guest with a basket to hold all your onsen needs. Upon check out, I was overcharged for my 2 days of breakfast. The staff was quick to rectify the problem & refunded me on the spot. Yes, would definitely stay in Amanek again in my next visit to Beppu! Thank you for the awesome stay!…

Great new hotel conveniently located in Beppu. It seems like a new hotel, the facilities look very new. The hotel seems quite busy, many guests are staying here. The room is very comfortable, everything about the room is great, we booked the Superior Twin Room. There is no parking at the hotel, you have to go to a nearby parking that they recommend, and you can get a good price, 500 yen for 24 hours, and pay at the reception. The breakfast you can choose from a Japanese style or western style breakfast, and they have a buffet counter that you can get more side dishes for your breakfast set. I find that there could have been more protein in the breakfast set provided. The onsen facility is good, one indoors, and one outdoors, with views of the Beppu skyline. They also have a rooftop pool (pool is heated), and there is a jacuzzi pool as well. The rooftop has amazing views of Beppu mountains, city skyline, and the sea.…
