We absolutely loved our stay at Savee Gammedda Resort in Dambulla! The family welcomed us into their hotel and made us feel so welcome. Their kindness made this stay the highlight of our travels so far! The accomodation is private, quiet and a close walk to town where you can get everything that you need. The shower is warm with good pressure which is always a must and the fast wifi made working from the hotel very easy. The family are so welcoming and we’re able to cook our meals for us and it was the BEST food we have eaten in Sri Lanka so far. Savindu took us on a fun tour around Dambulla, taking us to Sigirya Rock, to see wild elephants, the lakes and spice gardens. My friend and I booked 2 nights at the Savee Gammedda Resort. The family went absolutely above and beyond for us and were so generous, kind and helpful. We were greeted by the owners son Savee who is an absolute gem! Within half an hour Savee had organised his mother to come over and cook for us as there was a massive storm and the town centre was a good 15 minute walk away. We got to meet and spend time with the whole family and after we explained that we wanted to go to Pidurangala, Savee suggested a full itinerary for us with him as the driver all planned around our schedule. The next day Savee took us to Pidurangala, the spice gardens and even took us down the local road where we spotted 3 wild elephants! Savee then took us to the local lakes and back to his family’s personal home where they cooked for us again. Savee’s father even drove us from Dambulla to Hikkaduwa the next day and offered to organise our accomodation for us. He made stops and bought us lunch too! This experience has been one of the top highlights of my time in Sri Lanka! We came as strangers and left as friends! …

Tivemos o prazer de ficar hospedados no Gammedda Resort e foi uma ótima experiência,o alojamento é bem situado e a gerência super recente.Os quartos são extremamente limpos e o staff super prestativo.O Wi-Fi funciona na perfeição.O valor é super justo com toda a oferta,se vai visitar Dambulla e viaja em lowbudget este é o local ideal para se alojar.Recomendo muito
