Hi, I'm traveling to The Royal Corin Thermal Water Spa & Resort and was curious what people recommend when it comes to renting a car. We're flying into SJO and I know it's kind of far from the resort. Has anyone done this trip with a car or without and what are your thought? Thanks in advance!

We came from Liberia. Shop around for a rental car as prices vary widely. Like rental cars anyway watch for the insurance "scams". Read ahead. I forget the details
Hello! I would like to know if you treat the water in the hot spring area of the hotel in order to prevent parasites and bacteria. I heard a horror story about someone getting a parasite at a hot springs in Hawaii and now I'm nervous, especially with bringing kids here. Thanks!

Not sure if they treat the water, but the pools and spas are drained every night, then washed then refilled...
I'm curious to know if it's possible to visit a beach for a day during our stay at the Royal Corin. We will be staying there for a week and was wondering if we could just rent a car and head out to explore a beach. The question is how far is the nearest beach and if it makes sense to take the drive for a day?

One way to find out if it's do-able is to see if there's a one-day tour available to a beach. If there is, go that way. I don't recall any, but I think if it's a do-able, sellable tour, someone will offer it.
If you want to go to a beach, and I think it's worth it, it's probably best to stay one night at a hotel at the beach. You'll be much happier that way.
