We stayed at Aganoa Lodge with 3 children aged 15-20. It was so relaxing and everyone enjoyed it. The location, food, activities and staff were amazing. It is located in an idyllic tropical setting with white sand, beautiful reef and great surf for all levels...続きを読む

From the moment we stepped out of customs in Samoa we were well looked after. Tom and Andy greeted us and from there on the staff from Aganoa took care of everything. True to their promise, the guys were in the water surfing 30mins after...続きを読む
We went here for surfing and whilst the surf was too big most days out front for myself we had a great time, visiting other breaks, blowholes, villages and snorkelling. Great spot and great people.
The group dinners were great to meet people, and the...続きを読む
We spent half of our honeymoon here at Aganoa, and it was great for the off-the-beaten-track stay.
The resort has 8 fales (bungalows) with varying degrees of ocean views and a main lodge for eating.
The main lodge looks straight out over the reef and...続きを読む
Is it better to come when high tide is early in the morning and early evening or does it depend on swell?
I'm thinking of coming for a week in June.
I surf a 5'5, 5'8 and 6,0 depending on conditions but up to 4-5 feet depending how fast or sucky.
Should I bring booties?
Would you recommend a particular Fale for views of the lagoon and privacy?
Thx in advance.
They only let you surf the Aganoa break at high tide. So a few hours before and after ... it's a fickle spot. Wave is a heavy barrel type. Bring booties for sure. I would recommend coconuts in Upolu for the price comparison... 続きを読む

I would recommend coconuts in Upolu for the price comparison. Neil can take you around by boat for cheap and accommodations are great. If you want Aganoa lodge maybe Fale 4-5?
Hi I've been here in 2013,but since then seems that they have made changes with pegusus moving in.
What are the other waves around the area like, are they good quality?
As last time we only surfed out front.

When we stayed here we had access to a bunch of other surf breaks around the island. And there was no issue loading up the van and being driven to one of these breaks.
All transfers were included in our price
I'm considering going here with my soon to be husband for our honeymoon. My only concern is that there is no pool. I know, it's right on the beach! I shouldn't need a pool. But.. I worry that low tide would leave the ocean level too low, reef exposed etc and not be suited for swimming. I'd hate to be stuck without being able to cool off with a swim on a tropical holiday. I'm not a strong enough swimmer to go out far on a boat either.
Can anyone let me know if they think this would be an issue?

Hey hope it's not too late!
We were here for our honeymoon and loved it.
At low tide there are a few nice sandy spots to swim in the lagoon and you can still snorkel at low tide too.
