We stayed here during a quick jaunt through Connecticut. The staff was efficient and friendly and offered us a spectacular deal on single room accommodations. Our rooms were very clean and well appointed. A 24 hour coffee, tea and hot chocolate bar is well stocked...続きを読む
We chose the Farmington Inn based on proximity to the D's family and surrounding destinations. And we weren't disappointed! Our suite was spacious and the four-poster bed was the epitome of comfort. Fresh bottled water in the room each evening, plus a fridge and coffee...続きを読む
Highly recommend this lovely hotel in Farmington. In our book it rates much higher than its competitors. The room was large and the bed very confortable. Excellent breskfast, not the usual "continental" breads and pastries. Have stayed here before, and will definitely consider it again...続きを読む
We arrived at 1 am from a concert out of state and it was so nice to meet such a pleasant woman at the desk. She was friendly and helpful and even had a great sense of humor at that hour. Our rooms were great...続きを読む
My husband and I celebrated our 31st anniversary by spending the night at the Farmington Inn. We picked the location because it was next door to Piccolo Arrancio. a great Italian restaurant. We wanted to have a nice evening without having to drive at night....続きを読む
Not much. But Farmington's long, wide Main Street is a pleasant hike. You pass big old homes, 5,000 square feet or more, with front lawns an acre or two deep. Main Street is right around the corner from the Farmington Inn.
I have stayed at a BnB up in New York State and come home with bed bugs. However, the place as a whole was clean and the food great, but I think that the housekeeping staff may not be doing a good job. Either that or other travelers are bringing in the bugs in their luggage. I had left my luggage on the floor and carried the bugs home with me...discovered by my cat!!! Needless to say, all my bedding went out on the back porch for a few days in the sun and after cleaning the mattress I put on a plastic mattress cover and a new cloth cover. The hardware salesperson led me to a product that I used. If people store their luggage in a basement or garage they unknowingly bring the bugs with them. This is not a "question", but a bit of advice about using the luggage stands!! I would stay again at this hotel.

Just because...defense of overnights where bed bugs are found...not always the fault of the Inn owner. Simple.
When does the breakfast start?
