Well, there's vintage charm and then there's just plain old. This place has both. The public spaces - lobby and breakfast room - have that charm. The room had a few charming elements, but also a lot of old elements - old furniture, old bathroom...続きを読む

I doubt the inn has that set up, maybe two rooms side by side, but the rooms at the inn are small. We stayed at the Hilton Oak brook terrace when moving our son to Lincoln Park. It is about a 30 minute ride in, by car or train, and the train stop is close by. Also a large mall with shops and restaurants is situated behind the hotel and it sits right next door to the Drury Lane Theater. Rooms and bathroom are large, 2 queen in one room, separated by a door, and pull out sofa, fridge, microwave, table and chairs, in other room, very roomy. Two TV's, and a separate shower stall and bath tub. Also, indoor pool, lounge and buffet breakfast for a fee. However, if you buy the breakfast package, I think it is only 20 xtra dollars, and all in your room eat free. Driving in early on a weekend, traffic is not bad (rush hour week day would be bad.) Also, parking spots turn over frequently in Lincoln park, and are time limited, so we had no problem stopping for food or shopping, and welcomed the retreat back to Oakbrook Terrace from the city.
what is the parking situation?

They have a little parking lot right next to the building and they have a parking garage about 2-3 blocks away that was reasonable for Chicago. 30-35$ a night
